Executive Assistant to Nadya Okamoto (preferably in NYC)
Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Founder and Executive Director, Nadya Okamoto. This person will be responsible for management and coordination of Nadya's schedule and speaking/book tour, press opportunities, and correspondence. This will be a part-time position and it is imperative that the Executive Assistant has a quick response time for coordination with Nadya and general correspondence, they must be highly organized.
Chapter Coordinator (PDX) - volunteer
The Chapter Coordinator manages our chapter program through a series of verbal checkpoints with individual chapters. The Chapter Coordinator is responsible for onboarding chapters, tracking metrics such as chapter proposals, chapter activity, and chapter dues, and developing growth, success, and scaling strategies of chapter program and initiatives. The Chapter Coordinator helps chapters facilitate donor and volunteer project activities in their community. The Chapter Coordinator will be responsible for encouraging growth of chapter educational programs, such as Cup & Cloth and Ask Me About Periods. They will work with chapters to address any concerns that they may have, and brainstorm ideas while supporting them in their initiatives. A Chapter Coordinator is responsible for updating the Programs Director on the status and progress of chapter work. During their time working with our organization, the Chapter Coordinator will also play a lead role in growing and expanding outreach and activation of our chapter development in their region of the United States.
Policy Coordinator (PDX) - volunteer
Role will involve communications with student representatives across the country and content development for educational programs. This position will take around 5-10 hours a week. The Policy Coordinator will work closely with the Programs Director to spearhead our Policy programs, working to get period products provided to students. They will be the point-person for our wide network of Chapters to help support their policy work on the campus level. The Policy Coordinator will help develop the Policy Toolkits for chapters, create a comprehensive social media campaign to highlight chapter achievements in policy work, and liaise with local and federal representatives to increase awareness for menstrual hygiene equity.
