Q: What is Period Con 2019?

A: Period Con is two full days of inspiration, learning, and training. We’re assembling PERIOD chapter leaders from around the world and aspiring activists in the Menstrual Movement — and we’ll be joined by an impressive roster of speakers and mentors ranging from activists, influencers, brand representatives, legislators, and more.

Q: Who can come to Period Con 2019?

A: Anyone who is interested in celebrating the menstrual movement is welcome to join us!  Whether you are a youth advocate in our campus chapter network, interested campus chapter leader, or a generally passionate period warrior who want to learn more about the Menstrual Movement, there is something for you at Period Con 2019!

Q: What will we be doing at Period Con 2019?

A: Please see the SCHEDULE page for a tentative two-day action-packed agenda! For the first day, we’ll have amazing speakers and panels lined up to inspire you. For the second day, we have a series of engaging workshops led by leaders in the menstrual movement, as well as mentorship lunches, a packing party, a photo competition, a raffle, and an awards ceremony.

Q: What is included in the Period Con 2019 Ticket?

A: All-access to the full two days of the event, opportunities to engage with speakers and panelists, mentorship for expanding your chapter or developing as a menstrual warrior, breakfast and lunch for both days, and exclusive PERIOD Swag!

Q: Do we have to bring anything to Period Con 2019?

A: At the venue, it would be helpful to have your phone and a charger for the photo competition, cash or Venmo for raffle tickets, warm clothes in case you get cold, and your enthusiasm for everything PERIOD!

Q: What is the dress code for Period Con 2019?

A: Please wear whatever makes you comfortable! Sporting any PERIOD Swag is certainly a bonus!

Q: Are transportation and housing costs provided?

A: Unfortunately, we do not cover either transportation or housing costs. However, be on the lookout for our conference-specific hotel and hostel discounts for your stay in NYC!

Q: Who is speaking at Period Con 2019?

A: Please look out for updates in the coming weeks about our speakers! We’ll be making announcements on our social media @periodmovement on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!

Q: I am a leader in the menstrual movement and I would love to serve as a mentor during lunch! How can I do this?
