Hi! My name's Eudora and I'm currently a senior at Harvard studying Comparative Religion and Women and Gender Studies. I am absolutely STOKED to join the Period team this summer!
Ever since I started The Hygiene Campaign two years ago, I have not stopped thinking and talking about periods. Much like Period, The Hygiene Campaign is dedicated to donating menstrual hygiene products to homeless women and de-stigmatizing menstruation through legislation and education.
In the fall of 2016, Nadya asked me to grab coffee. The timing seemed so serendipitous--I was diving deep into a bad case of Senioritis and Nadya was a wide-eyed freshman, ready and rearing to take on the world. Over coffee, Nadya gave me the jolt of energy I needed to continue my passion for menstrual hygiene in the Harvard and greater Boston community.
Long story short (and many, many coffee dates later), The Hygiene Campaign is now an official chapter of Period and I'm moving to Portland!
I am beyond excited to continue my advocacy and outreach for the Menstrual Movement with the Period family for years to come--serving those in need, establishing campus chapters, enacting legislation, and spreading the energy to get others excited about periods!
Stay tuned for more about My Year of the Period: Portland Edition! (thinking seriously about renaming this blog "blood, beer, and bikes") :D :D
