NATIONAL PERIOD DAY is a day coined to nationally elevate the issue of period poverty with clear policy demands for freely accessible period products in schools, shelters, and prisons, and to eliminate the tampon tax in the remaining 35 states. On October 19, 2019, the very first NATIONAL PERIOD DAY, PERIOD will mobilize rallies across the country -- all organized by young leaders in their communities.

* United for Access

United for Access is a PERIOD x Thinx campaign dedicated to ending period poverty in schools. Our Champion Cohort works in their communities to get free period products into all bathrooms on their middle and high school and college campuses.

This is accomplished through petitions, demonstrations, and meeting with decision-makers to discuss impact and implementation. The Champion Cohort meets weekly over the course of the season (generally one semester) to discuss best practices.
