Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the dress code for PeriodCon?
A: Wear whatever makes you most comfortable! If you have PERIOD attire, definitely wear that, we'll be taking pictures and videos throughout the whole day.
Q: I want to attend PeriodCon but I’m worried about the cost. What can I do to subsidize my fees?
A: Fundraise! Fundraising is an essential component of being part of a PERIOD chapter. If you are unable to fundraise, we have some other options to reduce the cost of attending, for example, the Menstrual Warrior Awards! Fill out this form to receive over 50% off of your ticket. If you are still having trouble, please email email@example.com -- we want you there!
Q: Will food and drink be provided?
A: Yes! Both breakfast and lunch are included with the registration fee.
Q: Are passes refundable?
A: Passes are 100% refundable within 14 calendar days post-registration. After 14 days, we will be unable to refund your pass.
Q: I have more questions about PeriodCon. Who do I contact?
A: All questions and concerns can be directed to our Associate Director of Events and Outreach at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: My flight is delayed and I’ll be late. What do I do?
A: Contact our Associate Director Margaret Hassel for ALL DAY-OF EVENT INQUIRIES at (919)-923-6451.
Q: I don’t identify as female and I do/don’t menstruate. Can I still attend?
A: ABSOLUTELY. The Menstrual Movement is an all-inclusive movement, and we hope to include voices from non-menstruators as well.
Q: Do I need to bring anything to PeriodCon?
A: Bring your phones (for social media competitions), and yourself! If you have any PERIOD-branded merchandise, please bring/wear that as well. You can purchase PERIOD swag on our store (in our main navigation above).
